2023 SASS Holiday Programs

With the help of our community, Saline Area Social Service has provided holiday meals and gifts to local families, individuals, and seniors in need every year since 1961. The 2023 SASS holiday programs will serve approximately 125 households in Saline.

Ways to Help:

Purchase, assemble, and drop off a basket of food on Sunday, 11/19, 1–2 p.m. at the SASS office (1259 Industrial Drive). Estimated donation is $75-$95 per basket. A list of suggested items will be provided. 

Last day to sign up: Thursday, November 2, 2023

Once matched with a single adult or family, you (the sponsor) will purchase gifts for adults, and gifts and clothing for children. Suggested donation is $50-$125 per person. A request list will be provided. Gifts may be dropped off at the SASS office (1259 Industrial Drive) on:

Sunday, 12/10 – 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday, 12/11 – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Last day to sign up: Thursday, November 2, 2023

Purchase, assemble, and drop off a basket of food on Sunday, 12/17, 1–2 p.m. at the SASS office (1259 Industrial Drive). Estimated donation is $75-$95 per basket. A list of suggested items will be provided.

Donate gift cards in $25 or $50 increments (Meijer, Walmart, Busch’s, or Speedway) for perishable food items, gifts, and gas. Gift cards are due to the SASS office (1259 Industrial Drive) by Thursday, November 9. 

Mail a check made payable to Saline Area Social Service (mail to 1259 Industrial Drive, Saline, MI 48176) or donate now online with a credit card to support our ongoing mission, including holiday meals and gifts for those in need.
