Thank you to everyone who donated during the Truck Hero Donation match Challenge!

We’re so excited to share that we exceeded our goal of $10,000 and raised nearly $30,000 thanks to the Truck Hero match! Truck Hero provided a 100% match for the first $10,000 donated toward our senior aid programs throughout the month of March and was instrumental to the success of this campaign. We can’t say enough about how Truck Hero goes above and beyond to support our clients all throughout the year. Their generosity helps us to get all that much closer to achieving our mission.

The senior programming at SASS benefits over 100 people living in Saline. The rising costs of food, gas, and housing are a huge challenge for our senior clients living on fixed incomes who were already facing increased health risk from the pandemic and struggling to make ends meet. SASS is here to provide resources to support their quality of life and dignity.  

SASS programming for seniors:

• Groceries for up to 15 meals per week
• Household essentials and personal items
• Prescription copays 
• Grocery delivery to homebound individuals 
• Holiday gifts and meals
• Emergency aid for rent, utilities, and car repairs 
• Toiletries 
• Undergarments 
• Winter hats and gloves
