Thank you to everyone who helped provide Easter meals!
Our annual Easter Distribution took place on Sunday, April 10th. Holiday meal distributions are one of the oldest traditions here at SASS. That’s how we started over 60 years ago! There are so many people to thank for helping put this event together.
First, thank you to everyone who sponsored meals this year. Together we provided food, gift cards for fresh produce, household supplies, and Easter treats for over 150 people in need. Your generosity is a testament to the kindness of the people in Saline. Thank you for keeping the SASS tradition of providing holiday aid alive!
A special thank you to St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church for sponsoring Easter meals for our clients at Mill Pond Manor.
Thank you to Busch’s Fresh Food Market for donating all the paper bags!
A huge thank you to our friends at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church for putting together Easter baskets for SASS families with kids again this year! A special thank you to Diana Rooks for delivering all the baskets to the SASS office last Friday!
Thank you to the wonderful volunteers who helped hand out items at the Easter/Spring Distribution: Blake Coy (SASS Student Representative), Jack Kargel, Kalle Kargel (SASS Student Representative), Jason Radojevic, Kelly Radojevic, Rod Radojevic, Larry Spilker, Elena Sweeney, and Michelle Zabriskie.
Thank you to Nancy & Dick Fidler and Bob, Cathy, & Rillee London for delivering Easter meals to our homebound clients!
Thank you to Jack Edwards (SASS Board Member) and Kay Todd for directing traffic!
And a special note of gratitude to the many volunteers who pitched in to help us get ready on Thursday and Friday last week!
