Making a Difference at Mill Pond

At Saline Area Social Service, we believe in the power of community and the incredible impact that volunteers can have on the lives of others. Recently, we had the privilege of hosting a group of dedicated volunteers from RealTruck (formerly known as Truck Hero), who generously gave their time and energy to assist some of our senior neighbors at Mill Pond Manor.

A Helping Hand

The RealTruck volunteers arrived at Mill Pond Manor with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. They rolled up their sleeves and tackled a range of tasks, including turning mattresses, moving heavy items, and some deep cleaning. Their hard work and dedication made a noticeable difference, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support!

A Long-standing Partnership

RealTruck’s support extends far beyond a one-time volunteering effort. For the last several years, they have continually demonstrated their dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of those in need in our community, especially our senior neighbors. In addition to volunteering, they have made substantial financial contributions to support our mission, hosted social events at Mill Pond, and organized holiday gifts and special treats.
