Diane DeNio has made countless masks and donated her earnings of over $10,000 to SASS in support of our community. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, she organized gifts for each of SASS’s homebound delivery participants, including a handful of Mill Pond Manor residents and the Saline Area Senior Center’s “Meals on Wheels” program participants.

Helping Diane with her mask efforts, she credits Karen Carrigan for inviting her to sell masks on Saturdays at Carrigan Café and her friends’ support, including Mary Lindquist and The Quilting Season for donating hundreds of yards of fabric.

Thanks to Diane’s donation, over 30 homebound households will receive soup and a sandwich from City Limits Diner, Valentine’s cookies from Baker’s Nook, a hand-sewn mask and chocolates!

Diane, thank you for generously giving your time, talent and energy! Your support has made SASS a stronger organization, and your actions are a testament to how deeply you care for your community.
