Call 2-1-1 for Help – United Way 2-1-1 provides callers with information about and referrals to
human services, for everyday needs and in times of crisis.
Food Assistance Program (FAP) – A federal food assistance program, formerly SNAP. Can be used
to purchase food items at most grocery stores.
Healthcare Coverage – MI Bridges program that helps with healthcare
costs.
Housing Access for Washtenaw County – Washtenaw’s central intake for individuals and families
who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline – Provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress.
State Emergency Relief – MI Bridges program helping to cover the cost of emergency
situations.

Saline Meals on Wheels – Meals on Wheels (MOW) is a service provided through the cooperation of EHM Senior Solutions and the Saline Area Senior Center (SASC).
Washtenaw County Area Meals On Wheels – Seniors unable to leave their home for any reason and unable to prepare food at home may receive meals delivered to their door.
Pet Food Assistance – HSHV’s Bountiful Bowls program assists Washtenaw County and Plymouth residents who are having difficulty meeting the nutritional needs of their dog or cat due to financial burden.
Health & Wellness
Mental Health & Substance Use Support – Providing mental health services to all individuals in the county, regardless of their diagnosis, insurance coverage, age, or ability to pay for services.
Free Eye Screenings – Program helps people with limited access to eye care receive eye disease screening and free or low-cost glasses.
Hope Clinic-Dental Assistance – The Hope Dental Clinic provides limited dental treatment to the community.
Home Weatherization Program – The Weatherization Assistance Program provides free weatherization services to qualified Washtenaw County residents.
USAC Affordable Connectivity Program – Provides a monthly discount on intenet service and a one-time device discount for qualifying households.
Low-Income Households Water Assistance Program – The Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) is a temporary emergency program to help low-income households pay overdue water and wastewater bills. Michigan received emergency funding from Congress to administer this program.
Michigan Energy Assistance Program – The purpose of the MEAP is to establish and administer programs statewide that provide energy assistance and self-sufficiency services to eligible low-income households.
WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) – WIC is a supplemental nutrition program for pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and kids up to five years old who are income eligible.
Child Development & Care – Program may offer payment assistance for child care services for
families when the parent is not able to provide child care
Washtenaw Camp Placement – Connect youth to camp through community support, providing an opportunity for those who would not otherwise be able to attend.
Mama and Me MIHP – Maternal infant health education program, services and help for pregnant and parenting families with children under a year.

Saline Area Senior Center – Offering a wide range of programs and services, from fitness classes to creative opportunities, special events, travel, educational opportunities, Meals on Wheels (MOW) and much more.
Senior Snap Application Assistance – Helps low-income individuals and families buy the food they need to stay healthy.
Michigan’s Coordinated Access to Food for the Elderly – Seniors receive between $16 and $192 a month in benefits to buy food.
Mill Pond Manor – Affordable apartments for seniors, 62 or older, or mobility-impaired persons.

At Home COVID 19 Testing Kits – Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order an additional 4 free at-home tests beginning November 20.
Schedule a COVID 19 Vaccine – Clinic is open to everyone 6 months old and older.
Free Rides to COVID 19 Vaccination – Fare-free, accessible transportation to any vaccination and
booster appointments.
